Designed for low-light moments
Most proposals happen in low light : a restaurant, a sunset, a candlelit room, the moment in the car right before you go inside. The ring catches almost nothing in that lighting. The Sovereign was designed to fix exactly that.
Inside the lid, an LED activates the second the box opens, positioned to spotlight the centre stone from above. You don't see the LED itself, you see the ring suddenly catching every facet.
The octagonal silhouette is what makes the Sovereign register as different the moment she sees it, before she even opens it. The onyx microfiber leather is deep, almost black, with a subtle matte sheen, and a single antique gold-tone line runs along the seam where the lid meets the body. Inside, the indigo velvet holds the ring clear of the LED, and the cell is replaceable (LR41 button cell, two included, 2 to 3 years of normal use each).
