Ormelya Lumière Heart LED Ring Box
A light, for the moment that calls for one.

A heart that opens to a light.
For the proposals where words are too small. The Lumière is built around the simplest geometry of love and the most useful trick of light.

The eighth heart we kept
The heart shape is the riskiest design decision a ring box can make. Done badly, it's kitsch. Done well, it's the only shape that visually says everything without a word. The Lumière is the eighth heart shape we prototyped before we kept one.
The contour is asymmetric on purpose : the right lobe is slightly fuller than the left, mirroring the proportion you find in classical Renaissance heart motifs (the cuoricino used in Tuscan ex-votos and Florentine jewellery). It's not a Disney heart, it's not an Instagram emoji heart, it's the heart you find on a gravestone from 1620.
When the lid opens, the LED activates in the lower lobe and lights the velvet bed from below. The ring above floats in the warm glow. That micro-second of light, between the click of the clasp and her eyes registering the stone, is what makes the Lumière unfair.
Why $79 instead of $200
A heart-shaped LED box at a French jeweller runs $180 to $250 with a generic Chinese supplier behind the logo. We use the same factory class, but we sell direct. The price stays at $79 because we cut out the showroom, the salesperson, and the second markup. The materials and finish stay identical.
Three colours, three relationships
- Gold : steady, golden-hour, the one who's been there from the start.
- Rouge : the one who turns rooms when she enters them.
- Ivory : softness, slowness, the patient yes.

What our customers say
The 5 seconds she'll remember for 60 years
The brain doesn't encode proposals on average. It encodes the peak. Make it worth keeping.
Imagine
The moment she opens it.
- 1 Your hand on the leather. Soft, dense, warmer than expected.
- 2 The clasp gives way with a quiet, decisive click.
- 3 The lid pivots back. Gold catches the light along the seam.
- 4 Velvet. The ring centered, presented, waiting.
- 5 Her face. The 5 seconds you'll remember for the next 60 years.
If you can picture this, you already know which box deserves the moment.
In proposal economics
What this box actually costs.
An average proposal in the US adds up to thousands. Here is where the box sits in that math.
Spending months on the ring and seconds on the box is the most common proposal mistake. Fixing it costs less than dinner.
Same materials, different markup
